Default Cats

Well this past week I got my Volant CAI installed and a Hypertech PP3 (didnt have enough money for a better tune) but in the next few weeks it seems i may be able to have my exhaust. Im looking at Pacesetter LTs for 4wd, offroad y and either borla or magnaflow exhaust. only problem is that i have emissions and i need to keep my cats. Should I keep my stock ones or buy new high flow ones? I have to have emissions in feb so im not too sure what to do. any ideas?

you could have high flow cats welded into the off road y pipe. a few people have done that on here.

Or you could just buy a Dynatech system and the y-pipe already has the hi-flow cats in place. It's a completely bolt-on install.

My truck passed w/o cats..until they looked underneith it. You could gut them? Your in GA, I dont think their standards would be much different that they are here in Texas.

Yea, I heard in my county that all they do is hook it up to the OBDII port and see if there are any DTC's. But thats just all ear tho. Dynatech's would be nice, but the price is too much i think. They better then Pacesetter LTs?
