Hello there, long shot in the dark here being that this thread is almost 20 years old.
Does anyone happen to have one of these y pipes, GM or Jegs, they would be willing to sell, or know where I can find one since both have been discontinued. My cats have gone bad and im not interested in buying new ones, they don't do emissions where I am from, and I don't want to hack and piece my pipe together unless I have no other option.
I'll be surprised if anyone sees and responds to this, but if you do thank you!
Edit: there is one on ebay but fit is said to not be perfect.

The Government agency's have gone after retailers and manufactures of these types of products so they no longer offer them.
Most likely your only option is going to be used.
Other wise if yours is clogged, You would need to break up the material in the existing unit.

Ok, thank you. I assumed it was going to be something like that. My current plan is the hollow out the existing cats however I've read that it can cause turbulence and issues with exhaust flow with the open cavities so I don't want to keep that work permanently.
I'd like to get GM or jegs if I can find one, otherwise will try the cheap ebay kit, and if all fails then I'll head off to an exhaust shop.

That sounds like a bunch of miss information.
The GM stuff is gone unless you know where they exported those to you might find a used one.
Jeg's was fined and surely they have removed and destroyed any left over inventory. https://www.thedrive.com/news/18633/...-in-california
