Default Which Cat Back exhaust System

I just purchased a 2005 chevy silverado 5.3 L V8 and I need help on deciding which system to buy I am looking at the Flowmaster American thunder serires with the super 40 muffler with the tips exiting in front of the rear passenger tire and the other one is the Gibson super sport truck which one would be better I want it to be loud but I want better gas mileage or at least stay the same. I droped in a K&n air Filter How much differance would that make. One more thing I want to get a 180 degree thermostat where can I get one I just want the thermostat not the whole housing

Thanks

I've got the American Thunder Super 40 kit #17392 on my truck.
These Kits use more gas than a conventional muffler.
Mine's for sale, if you want it. NO welds, just clamps, less than 1000 miles old.
Still have original Flowmaster box.

Returning the truck to original condition, so these will be coming off soon.
PM me if your interested.

I just put a Corsa on last weekend at first I didnt like it and was kicking myself for wasting the money, but after driving it for a week I reeeeeeeeeally like it and everyone that hears say it sounds awesome. Best thing is no droning in the interior even at 2100Rpm u can barely hear it.
