Default cat back for 5.3 suburban???

The wife has been screaming for me to start modding our 02 5.3 suburban and she wants me to start with the exhuast. she wants something that is "rummbly" as she puts it but not deafning. we still have a 3yo that has to ride in it so I dont want to have to put ear muffs on him everywhere we go.

Can I get some opinions on the best manufacturers for cat backs. We get a regular "performance" rag that has a bunch of stuff in it but none of it looks very promising.

And once we do a cat back will it cause the motor to run fat and will I need to tune for it. Sorry so many questions, but I have spent more time on the camaro rather than worrying about modding the grocery getter.

Boyce, have you heard my burb's exhaust? If you like, I can give you the name of the shop that did it. The wife has a similar setup on her Yukon, but he tuned it to be just a little bit quieter. Both are on 5.7L engines, but the difference between the two would be neglegible.

When is your next mod party? I'll try to bring it down. BTW, the burb's exhaust will put my 4 YO to sleep in less than 10 minutes in most cases. Your wife might actually get some R & R out of this.

Nothing planned for the immediate future. getting the boom tube put on this weekend and all the other work has to be outsourced to Brads Custom Auto. I'll let you know if anything changes though.

anyone have any sound clips of the Corsa on a basically stock Burb? Only mod on the burb right now is a UPD intake.
