Default Cartek "M" Cam?

I need some opinions on this guys. You all know I have all the bolt-ons, tt3000 and 3.73 gears. I am thinking of buying this Cartek cam used want to make sure of something first. The specs of the cam are 218/222 .561 113. From the info I have gathered thusfar it is a comp grind with no advance ground in. I was thinking of getting it and putting it in advanced 4* with an adjustable timing set. How do you think it will do in my truck? Will I run into any valve event problems with that lift/lsa/advance??

With a converter, that should be a fine aggressive cam for a 5.3L truck. It will lope and studder without tuning and TB adjustments. You'll need to shift in the 6400 range I'd say. Advancing it will help you, so I agree with that +4.

If you don't have Edit or HPTuners, get one and you'll be happy with the cam.

I do have edit so tunning will not be a problem. Do yoiu still think I am going to have to shift that high with it advanced 4* though? I was really hoping to keep it below 6200. I want it to keep some lower/mid power for highway and daily driving as well.
