Arrow carbd 5.3

Any guys running a carb on your 5.3's? thinking i may put a carb on the one im buying from low dime...and throwing it in a 78 Z28....im looking for max power lmk what you think of this setup.

It WILL be a street car

01 5.3
-all new bearings
-arp rod bolts
-ported ls6 pump
-H3 pan
-TSP recommended 228/232 .581 .581 114 LS
-Milled .30/Ported/polished 862's
-ARP head studs
-MLS headgaskets
-Victor jr intake port matched to heads
-MSD 6010 control box

-BRP 1 3/4 longtubes into 3'' exhaust
-Speedtech plate kit (200) shot

-Fully built TH-350 (trans brake, red clutches etc.)

I already have the carb, trans and nitrous kit from my 92 camaro....I know the heads arent the best but ill use what i have until i can afford to get some better ones. Any guestamates on powerwise? Your help is greatly appreciated.

i think edelbrock makes a carb intake for the LSX, but i ain't sure which heads you'd want or how good it'd run

Get a Holley 650 Dual Feed from PC carburtor in Ontario Ca. They have done a few of mine, and they are the best I found.

you will get some real help and advice on this subject if you visit the ls1tech forums in the conversions section there are plenty of second gen camaro conversions in there.
