Default carb swap ?'s

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have an 305 small block out of an 85 silverado. It has about a million little vacuum hoses running choke, the carb, and god knows what else. I would like to eliminate the need for these by installing an aftermarket carb with an electronic choke. my question is would this allow me to remove or cap off all of these hoses? which ones would need to stay? what would i hook up the electronic choke too?
