Default cant leave well enough alone : (

so i home ported my throttle body and afterwards i reinstalled it to a messege popping up saying "reduced engine power". did some research and did what it said, got my pcm reflashed to compinsate more air in the 1514 table. still running like crap and throwing a code. what should i do? full tune? also sounds like the thing is missfireing but everything looks good. please help asap TIA

Did you port the butterfly area?Where the blade opens and closes, that might be the problem.I haven't retuned mine and it didn't throw any codes

no i didnt get in were the butterfly sits but i got to right in front of it. should i get a full tune or possibly a bigger throttlebody? i just dont want to go back to stock if at all possible. i was thinking though, i took the blade out and i removed the left side piece that bolts in were the gears are and the top gear fell out. my question i guess is the dot on one of the teeth?, does it need to line up with anything? TIA

Make sure you have the butterfly adjusted where it is in there without restrictions and even all the way around, should have marked before removal. Thats what your prob is almost guaranteed. Had the issue til i had it adjusted just right

maf was hooked up good i never removed it. i went to take pics for you guys today and my camaras dead. so i took a look at the throttle blade and realized that the blade wasnt set on there evenly so i loosened it up and repositioned in an even manner. i will reinstall tommorow. does this sound like something that may have been the problem?
