Did you run through the water? Sometimes, they have that track teched so well that the smaller motors can't get much of a burnout. If it was warm that day, it's also a little harder.

How tight are you holding the brake?

I have a UPD and I can do brake stands all day if I just hold the brake right. Sometimes it is easier to spin them if i ease the throttle in.. i used to floor both pedals and get a lot of revs and no smoke.... I'm learning slowly...

Have you thought about installing a Line-Lock? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
