Can the stock intake manifold be slightly ported?

Default Can the stock intake manifold be slightly ported?
I was wondering if our stock truck intake manifolds could be very slightly ported and if it would be worth it, if they could? I was wondering because I will be having my extra set of 5.3 heads (Absolute Speed - Stage 1 - 1 1/2) worked on and was curious if it would help me out any?

I don't see why not. Maybe an extrude hone too. I'd get an extra one to see how far you can port it...it may not be much at all..
