I installed my compucar kit today and am filling the bottle tommorrow. Can I spray through the shift with a 60, 80, and a 100 shot? Would it still shift fine or would i hit the limiter? I have an automatic

You can spray through the shifts but you are doing so at expense of component longevity. You will definately ET better but you tranny isn't gonna like you very much...expect premature clutch or band failures.

BTW- I do spray through the shift myself buy I plan on a rebuild every 18-24 months

 

Richard knows his Sh_T. Tranny rebuilds are not cheap, for a good rebuild you will paymore than a G unless you do it yourself.

 

if you do spray through the shifts i would highly recommend a tranny cooler. that will extend the life of your tranny a little bit longer.

 

Yes you can spray
Yes you will have to add a power programer or it will burn up hard core in the second to third shift. Or you can add the help of the corvette servo to firm up the shift with out burning that 2nd to 3rd up.. I spray a 150 shot and have sprayed as of this weekend over 100lbs of nos in just three weeks... Lots of tuning and lots of car killing...lol

It won't last long spraying through the shifts! Spend the $$ on the shift kit and cooler now, and it will last a little longer.
