I am not exactly sure what will happen when you move the cats but that is why they are not supposed to be moved from the stock location and it is illegal to do so in certain states. They definitely will take longer to heat up and that will increase emissions during warm up and in fact they may not reach operating temperature. The same may be true for the O2 sensors if you move them as it seems to happen when people install long tube headers and a code is set. The rear O2 sensors are removed and/or the codes turned off because they will set a code. The rears are only there to measure the operation of the cats (AFAIK) and when the cats are removed they sense that and set a code. You may as well find out if the cat and O2 will operate effectively that far back in the exhaust before you go to the trouble to install one. The front O2s should probably remain as close as possible to the stock locations.

Well hell yeah, that makes a LOT more sense! Wait a minute, what the hell is dry gas...and how can you get a ton of it in your tank?
