Default Can this be done?

I was looking at installing some LS1 heads on my 5.3L with LS1 pushrods and lifters. I know a friend who has a set of 241's from 200x Vette and he upgraded to some Lingenfelter heads and is willing to give them to me.

Now the combustion chamber on the LM7 is 61.15 (with gasket and quench area) and the LS1's work out to 66.67.

I know the compression ratio of the LS1 is 10.19:1 and the LM7 is 9.49:1 so there seems to be the potential for a little performance gain to be had out of the swap. Is it possible or does it raise the compression to much to run on pump gas.

Also I was wonder if anyone knows the volume of the dish on the LM7 pistons and the dish on the LS1 pistons is.
Thanks

Talking

the ls1 heads are actuaaly going to lower your compression taking away hp. unless you are going to go to F/I i say do not do it.

Oh I see now, the LS1 has a larger CC. Sometimes I get numbers backward in my head. Sorry.
