Ah, Crap really I was pretty much planning on running stock 4l80e at this point. Is that not gonna happen? I want it to run as good as it can.

After more research it looks like that cam is really for cars, and I would lose a lot of low end with it? Should I seel it and go with the TSP cams? All the numbers are just so damn a like its confusing.

Its not just for cars. Its been installed in mainly cars yes but its a universal design. Itll make a very good amount of torque with a truck manifold vs the ls6. The truck manifolds have longer runners to promote torque.
Itll sound mean.
Itll be alot better with a higher flowing head like the 243 or any ported head.

The cam wouldnt be terrible, but we could certainly do better.

Sounds like you're most concerned with low end power. I would shorten duration and tighten the LSA.


Who is doing the head work? You said a CNC too?

If it were my engine id do the tsp stg 2 high lift truck cam. pac1218s. and have fun. cut it on a 111 lsa. thats what i would do.
