Question Camshaft for '99 LM7 5.3L

I need to know what intake manifolds will fit a 1999 GMC LM7 5.3. I plan on installing a Lingenfelter polished LS-1 intake manifold on it. Will it fit? If not what aftermarket intake manis are available for the LM7?

why would you want to replace the intake on a truck anyways? from what i have heard they are much more efficient than any of the F or Y body intakes...

The stock 5.3 intake makes good torque. Id leave it alone. Unless somebody can give you some hard core evidence that an AM intake will make good numbers over stock, I wouldnt waste the money. The only intake Id even consider spending money on is that FAST LSX intake which is set up for direct-port N2O injection. Only thing is I dont think it will fit on the 5.3.

The LS6 intake will fit the 5.3 as will any LS1 style intake including the LSX,the only problem with using a intake designed for a F or Y body is the throttlebody location and accessary drive are different from the trucks'.To run any of these you will need to reroute your accessary drive belt tensioner to make space for the lower throttlebody position. The LS6 or the LSX manifolds would probably only show slight hp gain unless they were used with other mods.Unless you are planning major engine mods that move the power band into the 6500 rpm + range I wouldn't even consider a intake manifold change, the expense will far outweigh any gains.
