Default Cams similar to TR220

I would love to stick a TR220 in my truck. With new springs, of course.

I was just wondering if someone knew of a similar cam that didn't cost quite as much? Also, this cam with nitrous, wil LS6 springs hold me or do I need 918's?

Thanks,
Josh Hucks

no you need the 918 and nitrous should be fine as long as you dont go to big ont he shot. look for a used one in the classified section on here and in the car classified section. their around alot in the TA and Camaros becasue people want bigger since their car is lighter. good cam pick though for the trucks.

Just about any GenIII cam is going to run you the same price new (~399) unless you find a gp or sponsor special. Or you could do like cst said and keep and eye on the Classifieds. Also, just about all the major cam grinders have some sort of 220 druation cam that you can get thru verious sponsors such as Futral, TSP, Thunder, etc...
