Default that cam to use in 4.8

i have got my hands on 2002 4.8, i will be going into a1979 chevy nova with a 4 speed, and using a edelbrock carb set up, and ported heads

i have been told to run the 224/224 .561/.561 112LSA Thunder Racing Cam,in my 4.8 and it wuld run nicely along with the 918 springs and atleast a 3500 stall and tranny cooler

why use the carb setup?? wouldnt the purpose of using a 4.8 be fuel injection??

TR224 is a strong cam.. might want to get a custom grind based on your plans though..

I suspect cams are cut different for carberated engines.
