Slow n low 4.8 I don't know if u told me but what size gears do u have and what size tire r u running. If I could get a 13.8 with my cam I won't change anything..I'm on 3.73s with a 265 70 17 tire. And I guess I'm getting the converter next. So u say 3000 not 2600-2800? Thanks.

stock 3.42 gears with a 305 45 18 drag radial i went 13.80s
i wanna say it 29.5 inch tall tire
And on the stall i say 3000 yank i love my yank its tight and works good with this cam
i am wanting to go 3.73 to get some better 60 fts than 2.0
I only made 2 passes with my setup 13.8 1st pass and 13.9 2nd pass

How is your tranny taking that yank?what gave u done to it? Mines already hitting the rev limiter need to upgrade. And finally what rpm u shifting at?..

stock trannys fine has fairbanks/superior servos with the stall only tranny mods
i wanna say1-2 shift 6300 and 2-3shift 6100 i maybe off by 100 rpm not sure been a while since we did shift points

Are you hitting the rev limit because of slippage or tunning issues?

i believe its slippage atleast thats what the tuner told me. mine is set to shift at 6100 at 40mph but for some reason i feel something is wrong.. its hitting the rev limiter at 6350 and shifting at like 52-53mph or thats what i see when im looking at the speedo.. o and i just changed my tires to 245 70 17 today but havent adjusted to the new size. the ones i had were 31.6 tall the ones i put r 30.5 and the when i looked up urs they came out as 28.8.. so maybe thats y ur shifting into third in the 1/4 mile..

I hadn't messed with trans tuning since the white truck, but I had this issue also. Got to have your RPM and MPH matched or it'll bounce the rev limiter

yea i understand that part. my tuner said it should be shifting at 40mph which is kind of weird because before on my 3.42s i was shifting at 6200 at 55.. now i know i put 3.73s and its said to shift at 6100 but i dont think that small jump in gears should drop me to shifting at 40.. im going to double check with justin and double check the shifting

If you do a stall and 4.10 gears it will act like a totally different truck at the track.
