Default Cam suggestions

OK, so I got rid of my old 5.3 truck and bought an "03 SS with the 6.0. I want a cam with good performance gains and a nice sound, not an extreme lope but something you can tell by listening that there's been a change. Also, some header and exhaust advice would be great. Anyone running a SC or turbo on one of these?

i think that with a 6.0 ss you should at least go for a 224/224

it would feel a WHOLE lot smaller in bigger displacement. displacement eats up the cam feeling. thats why the LS7 can get away with putting 210/230 stock cam. 224 in a 4.8 is pretty big. i have a 224/228 in my 5.3. that or the 228r is what i would put in a 6.0 maybe even a 228/232 or the like. 220/220 is just going to make you want bigger with the 6.0 IMO but thats just me
