Arrow Cam and springs for 4.8L

I'm looking for a cam and springs for my "cheap as dirt" 4.8L build.

I'm not trying to build a max effort 4.8 or anything like that, just something to play with.

Weight: ~3000lbs
Trans: Camaro WC T-5
Final drive: 3.73
4.8L = stock
Approximate whp: ~300whp
Powerband: 3000-7000 rpm
Rev Limit: 7400

Here are some cams I am looking at:
Dur In/Ex .006 DurIn/Ex .050 Lift In/Ex LSA ICL
269/278 216/224 .551 .551 114 110
268/274 218/224 .604 .612 113 109
271/275 218/224 .604 .604 112 108
267/276 219/228 .525 .525 112 108

Any of the above cams will get me close? Any suggestions on springs? I was looking at PSI 1511ML.

Thx,

-=PJ

with the light weight, you can definitely go higher in duration that normally in a truck. Buddy of mine has a 226/229 in his 4.8 RCSB that pulls right up around 7 grand. With the ones you posted, the 3rd would be my choice out of those.

Why not run a 220/224 low lift with ls6 springs that would keep your budget down and deliver great power.

Would that one help me meet my power band/rpm goal? I like the whole "drive a slow car fast" thing. The 530i (~3700lbs) I have makes a whopping ~200whp from it's 3.0L V8 and spins 7000 rpm all day. Not a power house, but sure fun to beat on.

Since this is just a beater toy, power ranks 2nd on the list.

I doubt that cam would make power all the way up to 7000
