check ls1tech, there are ALWAYS 224s to be had on that site. I personally would go bigger though

i wont pass snog if i go bigger from what ive read but im open to suggestions

sure you will, a 5.7 which is 346 cubes can pass untuned on a 224/224 114. An LQ9 at 364 cubes and high compression could easily pass a 228 on a 114 and I personally think a 228 on a 112 could pass with tuning. It has a lot to do with the tune.

Sure about that? The general consensus last time I looked was 220/220 as about the max with a tune on an F-Body (LS1).

yeah, go to norcals1.com, there are plenty of guys that pass untuned. **** check out the western section on tech. I always see a thread about passing with a 224 114 with no problems.

An older 5.7 is going to be passing a different set of rules than a newer 6.0. Acceptable levels of pollutants get smaller and smaller at time goes on.
