Default Cam question

Hey guys I am new here I got this sbc 350 in the back of the block it got this numbers stamp 5.7 Sgt and a big 8 the block number is 14093638 I wanna do a cam swap but I can't really tell what size of cam .since the only numbers stamp on the cam are 990007 I can't get no result I just wanna do a lil upgrade what u guys recommend???

As far as the casting numbers go, It's just a run of the mill 1987-1995, 350 cid, Car & Truck, 2 & 4-bolt main, Passenger, 1-piece seal.

I have no idea what the number on that cam corresponds to

As for a cam recomendation, is the engine all stock?

If so there are plenty of off the shelf cams that will work.

This is a pic of the only numbers i can see on that cam lol
Yeah it is I haven't done nothing to it . till now got head redone all the accessories are new and that's about it . but I got a new th350 and 323 gears with limited slip on the back I am not trying to build a race car Lol I just want a lil more performance out that lil sbc 350 lol

I've got a new comp 268 I can sell ya for $90. That would be good for a truck... But I can't find anything besides a Lunati T Shirt or Gibson exhaust for that cam.
