what esle do i need other than whats in the cart to put a cam in my truck i know whats needed but i jus wanna make sure

Cam,springs,pushrods
5/16 wooden dowel rods
gasket set/crank bolt
3 arm chrysler puller
spring compressor
14mm air adapter
balancer install tool
pen magnet for keepers
gallon of antifeeze

here is my list, everyone add their suggestions also

im puttin it in a 2008 silverado 5.3 do i need the DOD delete kit bc i was jus gunna buy the lifters and trays.IS the new valley cover really neccesary

yes. u need a ls2 valley cover and up. it blocks the oil passages to the lifters
