Default Cam question

Im interested in installing a cam in my silverado since I believe I will be doing my head gaskets sometime in the near future. I'm running a lift and bigger tires but have lower gears so low end torque is pretty good and its pretty quick, But seems to need more top end HP (past 3500rpms)

I would like to hear some opinions on which cam would be right for my setup, what others are running, etc. I have been searching through threads as well but would really like hear from people running rigs similar to mine. I drive it daily but want the most performance I can get

2000 silverado 1500 z71 reg cab short bed
rancho 4 inch lift
315/75R16 cooper STT's
5.3L vortec
"wait4me tune"
rear 14bolt SF conversion with 4.56 yukon gears
flowmaster 40 series dual 2.75" exits
have a transgo stage 3 shift kit waiting to install with corvette servos

I dont do any towing, just want to haul *** haha. why would you recommend this cam? mainly because of tire/lift size? sounds like a small cam?

you dont want to over-cam it, especially when your lifted like you are on big tires...a 212/218 isnt that small anyway, dont forget its still a truck

you sound like you just slapped on a lift with some big tires. I'm willing to guess that you didn't regear it either.

if you just want to haul *** and sound good, get the TSP GIANT cam package.
