hmmm.. idk really. I dont think that grind is that aggressive... what kind of exhaust do you have or is it just the edelbrock headers?

I had this cam installed in my 6.0 L LQ4 for about two years. It is a good performance cam with a small amount of lope at idle. With proper tuning, this cam is excellent above 3,800 RPM's.

What do you mean when you say can you hear it? I'm assuming you mean does it have a lope in the exhaust. Do you mean something else?

you cant really hear the lope in the cam. the truck dont pull real good out the hole, it has edelbrock shorties, no cats, and a f350 diesel muffler.

Is it still black smoking for you. I doubt that big muffler is doing the sound of the cam any good. Plus that cam really isnt very aggressive from what I can tell too. Get you a stall then you wont notice the low end lag as much.

to be honest with you it kinda sounds like it has straight pipes on it. the muffler really didnt quiet the outside down any just the inside you cant even hear it. no the black smoke is gone it was fun while it lasted.

does it lope better with the a/c off? the good thing about putting that cam in is that no loss in mileage. ive been 140 miles this week on a quarter tank of gas
