I have a stock cam from my old 2001 Firehawk. What kind of gains would I see if I dropped it in. Remember this is my wifes grocery getter so I just want so I dont need a real extreme cam. I just figured since I had it laying around maybe I could drop it in. My current mods are in my sig, and other than that all I plan on doing is a tune and some E-fans. TIA.

u might see some HP gains around 5600 rpms and up.. but you would loose low end since the LSA's are totally different.. that fbody cam is 117-118 i think? The truck LSA is 114 :-P
if you want, put a 01ls6 cam in there.. some have seen 25-30hp peak gains, but you might loose low end again.. its all about whatcha wanna do with the truck. I waited and ordered a VHP 44 cam... 210/218 114lsa for good low end
