I say 212/218
plenty lowend to help pull those big tires
my truck runs great with a 212/218 always in the power never a spot where it bogs
I feel a 212/218 is equal to a 220 cam but better bottomend with the 212/218

low lift, and the stock injectors will be fine.

What is your exhaust setup? Im running a Isky mid lift 212/112 in a stock lq4 right now. Pulls hard, has more low end than the stock cam and killer midrange, with a light chop at idle.

Do you want it to run good, or just after sound? If it were me I'd keep it around ~215 max and LSA 110~112. If you swap the converter then 220~224 would be fine. That heavy converter in a power robber; getting rid of that will do more than the cam.

It is a daily driver. just wanting more pep throughout, gonna do lt either at the same time or just after. I have seen stock stall replacements that list as a new design and light weight compare to the older 4l80e converter. Of course mine is 11 years old they have surely come up with a better design by now.
