Default Cam help for 5.3L build

I posted my question on LS1tech.com with no results. Guess the car guys aren't too familiar with the LM7. So maybe you guys could point me in the right direction...

I'm building an 04 LM7 for my 89 IROC camaro swap. Looking for some suggestions for a cam, after searching and searching I couldn't find a definite answer on what would work best on my set up. The bottom end has the stock crank and rods, ARP rod bolts, 3.800" bore Wiseco flat top pistons. Using 862 heads but with 2.00" LS1 intake valves, Brian tooley spring kit... LS6 intake, Long tube headers with a T56 trans. 3.70 gears in the rear... car weighs around 3400 lbs and is used for cruising, occasional autocross or road race event.

I'm looking for a rough idle, something that hits pretty good and has explosive mid and top end power. Though I don't want to over cam it, rather make power under the curve and be able to use A/C in the summer. Would something like a Torquer V3 work or would that be too much cam? With my heads I should be around 10.5:1 compression... hopefully.

Thanks

Also, I was thinking about bore size and the difference in CI between a LS1 and a LM7. With mine being bored to 3.800 and a LS1 being 3.898 stock, that seems real close to me. So running a larger cam, such as a torquer V3, would .98mm truly be a factor in the size of cam I can run? That just seems to be rather close in bore size... thoughts on this?

i'd venture to say any of the proven F-body LS1 cams (leaning towards the mild-to-mid-level ones) would be perfectly fine for this application
