Here is my truck with a ht-1 cam tsp long tubes and off road y pipe. One video open headers one with a flowmaster 50 series.

It's on a 114 LSA with a split duration so it sounds a lot more aggressive than stock, but nothing crazy. Tuning can be setup for more or less sound. Hell most stock cam trucks sound way meaner with just the Longtubes.
This combo with proper tuning should net in the neighborhood of 75hp.

I haven't had it on a dyno just a mail order tune for now. It's a huge improvement over stock with no loss of low end power. And if I drive it right no loss of mpg's either.
Here is a speedo video with a conservative tune.

This guy is on the right track!! Do you have a converter? This is as large as I'd go with a stock one... And even still I HIGHLY recommend even a small 2800 from circle d. It will be more enjoyable to drive with any cam that has slight chop in the idle.

What do those usually cost?

Yes I'm running a stock converter on a completely stock 280,000 mile 4l60e (for about a year now) The ht 1 cam 214/218 duration 559/562 lift 111lsa works great on a stock converter.
It's my daily driver.

Damn 280k. How long ago did you do the cam swap I have one with173k. I would love nothing more than to put a cam and long tubes on. That's badass. It gives me hope. Lol
