Digging this thread up because I have the exact same question for the tahoe in my sig.

What other cams have people been successful with for a DD with good off idle torque? What kind of mpg should I expect (getting 14/20 now w/ mods below)? Not going to put a new converter on it. Thanks in advance.

 

The cam in my sig is a great daily driver and has nice off idle torque without needing a higher stalled converter. I also like the looks of the Vinci 210/218 cams.
