With a 4.8, the more converter the better. Go with a 3600+ 9.5" piece.
The 224 cam should work well. When you take the heads off, bring them to a machine shop and have them deck about .040" off. Your 4.8 with that cam will love the extra compression.

there is a new set of LS7 lifters for $110 in the for sale section. You should buy a pushrod length checker, I'm not sure the stock LS7 pushrods will work. They have different heads.

ls7 lifters for sure with that mileage, cam is too big, springs too small, converter too big for any street driving, what gear ratio do you currently have?

tbss/NNBS intake
run a cutout before the muffler or swap the crapmaster for something free flowing
