Cam, fuel injected vs carbed..

Default Cam, fuel injected vs carbed..

I e mailed about a cam that comp makes for a 8.1L I ask them if i could get that same cam but with there Big Mother thumber grind on the idel or what ever they do that makes them sound nasty. this is the cam

The reply i got back was this,

Hi Shawn
Thank you for taking interest in our product. We can grind you a
custom thumper grind cam for you if you'd like as long as this is for a
carbureted engine



So my question to you guys is this, Why would these thumber cams only be for carbureted engines.. I mean the cam doesnt know what on top of the motor. I have access to a Hp tuners...

So what do you all think
