Default Cam is finally in

Well I started friday and finished saturday night. Installed comp 224/224 .581/.581 112lsa and 918's. All in all it wasn't too bad. A few unexpected things here and there. It started up and idled pretty well but when I put it in drive I had to two foot it all day. Had it dynotuned at texas-speed yesterday and it put down 340rwhp and 324rwtrq.

It's an 05 VHO with lq9. I've only done the throttle body bypass, air raid cai and throttle body spacer. That's it. I've got a set of pacesetters but haven't put them on yet.

Vortec High Output; its sort of a 2wd version on the Silverado SS. The lq9 is the code for the high compression version of the 6.0 found in the VHO, SS, and Escalades.

Nice #'s. So you're running that size cam with no stall? What does it feel like off idle.... is it sluggish down low??

if a cam and tune is all youve done those are awsome numbers, whenever you let that thing breath with full exhaust and intake your gonna pick up alot Id expect 380rwhp with a full setup

how does it drive with no stall in a 6.0? where were the peak numbers at? future plans?

Very nice numbers I would also be interested in hearing how your power is down low without a stall because on my truck even with my 216/224 without a stall my lowend was .

should run 13's with ease if you get a mild stall in there. traction limited that is.
