i have not a clue what timming it was/is running.... i think moddoo and i are going to get together today and use is hp tunes and look at the tune!

4.8t so do you think the truck would run with 8* 's off? i would seem to think it would??

as long as the valves don't meet piston sure it would. not very well but it would. when we did snakeeaters cam at one point (before i did the math) we thought one tooth was just 4 degrees so we jump one tooth advance. it ran hell it screamed but i think he was lucky on that one because the duration wasn't that high and it was a only 560 lift. but if you 8*'s retarded it would run like butt at low rpms. if you really think its off use a degree wheel and check it. thats the only way to tell for sure.

on the pinks car the one dude installed the cam 5 teeth off ran for a few seconds then wiped out all pushrods and intake valves

wow....5 teeth. ouch

ok so i looked at the tune today..and i think all the tuner tuned was the AFR and that was even off some...i was getting 8 counts of knock i think... but eberything was all screwed up... i cant remember everything!! maybe tom will chime in and shed some light......

im going to pick up an 2001 or 2002 PCM and them we are going to give it hell lol

Let's just say the guy who tuned it spent about 10 minutes on it.

It's not runnin too good right now.

trims were up to 20 off, almost everywhere.

7-8* of KR in almost half the cells.

We'll get it running right.

I don't think the cam is off a tooth.
