cam or converter??

Yup, I stall mine up to about 3200 with the footbrake and then let off. It scoots out of the hole real good.
Basically a torque converter allows your engine to get in its torque band alot better for acceleration. Another added bonus is better shift extension.

Depends a lot on how the converter is set up, the weight of the vehicle, power of the brakes and type of braking system, and how much grip the tires have.

with the circle d did you purchase the aftermarket flex plate? or do u still have the stock one?

would you recommend circle d or yank both look good. circle d is a little cheaper. have any of them had problems with install?

The reputation of both companies is great. Pick one and dont look back. I picked circle d just bc of the great reputation and price of the 278mm 3-3200 for 375 shipped. A great bang for your buck stall
