I told him it might be cheaper to do gears
But he said hes got a spare parts truck...wants to keep it 3.73 to be the same as the truck....he tryin to save money (like most of us)
I been tryin to help him out with other options

well gears would be his best bet and also save him from doing a trans sooner then later.
I understand about trying not to spend a lot but for what he wants gears is what he needs

Cam swap will make his low end even worse without doing gears. I'd do 4.56 gears first, then 212/218 cam, headers, and small converter.
