i think i said it wrong.. for the 112 does that come specific for the tr220 cam or do i have to specify that i would want a 112 when i order the cam

im pretty sure the 220/220 comes standard w/ 112LSA

You have to specify the LSA as 112. I had a 220/220 on a 114 LSA before I went to the cam I had now. It made great power. I had a Yank TT3000 and it was great. If your wanting to keep it mild get that one. I have a Yank SS3600 now and it's a totally different animal. You can still tow, easily, with a TT3000. IIRC people are passing CA emissions with 224's. What ever you decide, You need to plan your setup before you purchase all the parts. It will save you time and money in the long run. Some LT headers would help too

5.3l i would stick with the 220/220 on a 114 or 112 lsa.
If you plan to rev over 6300rpms upgrade your rodend bolts to arp's so you can rev it safely. FWIW i wouldn't rev under 6500 on a 220 cam in a 5.3l.
Don't run anything smaller than a 3k stall a 3200 would be alot nicer and a 3600 would be ideal.
Longtubes will go a long way as well once you cam. Also e-fans knock a couple tenths off as well.
Don't forget gears and locker in the rear....price starts to add up fast once you consider the entire build.

yes i understand price goes up exponentially for that next horse but i wanna keep thing slight right now nothing major... if i put in a cam and rods and springs and timing chain thing will run correctly and add more power..correct me if im wrong the other stuff like helping out the tranny, rear end and efans are not going to be EXTREMLY needed for these initial upgrades they are just the next step after
