What kind of blower drive does the procharger use? Does it use an additional pulley at the crank? If so how many ribs and what is the diameter? I am looking for a bigger crank pulley for the 'ol Whipple and they evidently don't make one.

 

For the trucks, it uses the stock crank pulley with a longer 6 rib belt.

 

OK, thanks. I know the vortech and the newer whipples use the stock crank pulley too. Let me re-phrase the question. Does anyone know of any blower kit that uses an add on crank pulley besides the whipple?

 

Camaro Procharger systems use a 8rib pulley and MMS makes a larger diameter crank pulley for that setup.Sounds like you are looking for more boost.Check it out,you could probably use the 8 rib pulley with a 6 rib belt,if they line up.

 

Whitt-yeah I want to have the ability to increase boost and I also want to run a larger blower pulley to fight belt slippage. Not to sound like the dummy that I am but who is MMS? Do ya have a link or a phone # Thanks.
