Default buying a used lq4 6L...?

it's a 01 LQ4 has 118000/km on it, it's complete flexplate to fan, they just unpluged the wire harnis and pulled the motor. They want $2400 (canadian funds) and they also want $250 for the ecu aswell.

It's going in a 81 malibu, i'm planing on using a painless wiringharnesses to make things ezer

Is that a good deal

Is there anything i need to look out for?

thanks

I think $1877.xx is a bit high for a 6.0L with that many miles.

I would say you can do better than that. I've been on a hunt for a 6.0L myself and for that price I have see alot around the 45-60k area. But I know it can really depend on what's close and easy. If there charging a core fee and you have to pay a hugh shipping fee then you can end up $2000 in a $1400 motor.
