Default buying pacesetter headers

anything i should know before i buy these LTs non ceramic coated. they are 1 3/4 mild steel for $264.00. I wanna make sure they will fit the stock y pipe and if i need to put sleeves on the spark plug wires. Also they have 3 inch collectors and i want to do 2.5" true duals. will it be alright or is there a better way?

I'd look at getting them coated, maybe there is a shop local to you that can do it? You do live in one of the saltiest parts of the world.

LTs will not fit the stock Y pipe.

TooTall used the pacesetters and he didn't need any sleeves for the stock wires.

So basically i would need an ory in order for it to fit?

And no place down here does ceramic coating. i would have to take them up to the main land.

an ory or you could have the exhaust shop connect the headers to your pipe

is it difficult for them to modify the stock y pipe to fit the pacesetters? I dont want to buy the ory bc im gonna do the true duals. ive been searching and reading and it seems like its a hassle, with the tranny lines, and the tick noise, i guess i can deal with that, i just hope an exhaust shop can modify the stock piping to fit the headers.

just buy the coated pacesetters, bring it to an exaust shop to run you true duals from the header back, and be done with it. end of story

i have uncoated pacesetters and the only thing i notice from them is radiant heat in the floor boards. And why even worry about the y-pipe if your doing true duals?
