Wel, my killlllllerrrrr deal fell half way through on my cam and springs. Seems "my" springs were suppoesed to be en route to me and they were en route on somebody else's car!!! ANywa, now I'm getting my cam at one killer deal and need to get some springs. 918 were coming with it and I was stoked!! HOwever, now thatmoney is tighter than F' I've been looking at LS6 springs, what model should I use for my truck, the 02 ones or the 01 ones? Or if anyone has any 918s cheap or knows where I can get some, LMK!!! i'm pretty bummed, but at least I still, hopefully, got my cam coming! Help on the springs is 'preciated. BTW, will LS6 springs use our stock keepers?

How big is the cam?

For the springs ... you want the ones that are on a 02 Z06 vette.

 

Get the 918's. I saw some in the parts section.

 

the cam is a COmp 212 218 522 529 114LSA

02 Z06, are those the "blue springs" ? I have part numbers for them and think they're pretty cheap from the dealer. Will stock retainers work on these? or do I need to order Z06 retainers?

OK, found a NEW set of yellow 02 Z06 springs on the F body for sale section for $50 shipped, sounds like a killer deal! What do y'all think? I've got my name on dibs for them, hopefully!

Eather will work fine in there but that guy selling the 918's has them at a very good price.
