Well the last straw has came... when I swapped my motor I brought my truck to have a tranny built 2k later i have a built 60e i was told would be just as strong as the flt i was going to order. Well couple months go by tranny blows reverse a seal blew in the pump. Fixed, couple more months go by and boom tranny blows snaps convertor shaft and pump, he fixes it with some persuasion and tells me thats it hes not warrantying it anymore and told me people tell him I beat the **** out of it, and the n2o killed it, when I told him 500hp and im not even at the with the n2o... he ended my warranty, but then told me the clutches were in perfect condition yea so I def. beat the **** out of it right?! My buddy went there one day for some help and well the owner asked bout my truck and got mad when my buddy said it was doing "ok" and went on tellin him that it was impossible to get all the metal shavings out of the tranny, and that he gets most and the magnet takes care of the rest. AWESOME WORK MAN!!!
So onto today. Leave my house around 6, 15mins to HomeDepot for some screws for a job I was doing, get in my truck it locked up, hit the gas grinding noise, then total lock up, reverse too. So AAA comes tows it home, 9hrs later Im out of work it moves, im sick so I cant smell the fluid, so my buddy comes over and I ask him to smell its, "HOLY **** THATS BURNT" so I guess the fluid was cool, or thick enough to make it move, but when hot its TOO thin.
So Im out of a trans, and out of money. I dont want him to fix it, I now just need to swallow the 2k i spend ****** ******* if you ask me... so instead of fixin this one, Im gonna save and decide on what I want to do a little later, for the next couple weeks Ill bum a ride, and save up get a 1500-2000$ s10 for a daily. And well the schevy will be in the garage, slowly tearing down and doing a complete build on it, shockwaves will be for sale, 2wd frame will come and a performance new bag setup, built motor and everything done right, wether it be a year or turn into the next jimmyp thread it will happen.
It sucks but the end will be so worth it, Dr. Trans

Bummer, Good look with the rebuild. At least now you have a clean slate to do everything right. I have a fear of my tranny going out. What sucks about tranny stuff is that you pour $2000 dollars into one and you can't tell the difference.... it just works.
