where can you get forged or chromoly bottom end internal parts for the chevy 4.8 or 5.3 truck engines. say if you had forged pistons, h beam rods, and a stock crank could either of those engines handle around 600hp with supporting mods. i was thinkin of something like a 4.8 with 220/220 cam,nelson tune,fans,longtubes,cai,and a heathy shot of nitrous, maybe 250-300 shot will it handle? and just for a side question what would it take to get an extended cab 4x4 to run low 11s maybe 10s. that would be my ultimate goal. kinda crazy i know but i'm crazy like that.
