Default building up a 5.3

i'm getting ready to start my 5.3 build up and i feel that, since this thing is sitting in the garage and out of the truck, now would be a good time to do some internals work and some work on it. After searching around, i've decided to stroke it out to a 5.7. i'd appreciate any and all suggestions to building this motor up...pushrods, heads, pistons, cam, rockers..anything you would do? i'd like to maintain streetablity but still have a decent engine.

The stroke on the 5.3 & 5.7 are the same 3.622. The bore on the 5.3 is smaller than the 5.7, thats the differance.
