Default Build-up Q’s for the 6.0L

I have asked this a few times in the engine section, but I haven’t really seen the kind of answers I am looking for. I currently have a stock 6.0L with a Powedyne blower installed. I also have that lovely CSK “option” too! I want to do a build up as cheaply as possible. Here are my goals.

1. bore and stroke, say 4.030 x 4.0xx (at least 400 ci)
2. get rid of the CSK for ever!

The engine needs to be a reliable daily driver and tow vehicle (10,000 lbs 5th wheel). Can this be accomplished? What kind of HP and torque should I expect normally aspirated? Also, how much money would this set me back (the wife has the checkbook).

Thanks for the help!

This engine build you'd like gets very expensive very fast. Sure it's possible to make it reliable but, reliable many times means the best parts are needed. Depending on how radical you want your cam to be, 500+ RWHP/RWTQ is easily attainable naturally aspirated. Like I said earlier, prices add up fast. Here's roughly what you're looking at:
Crank-$2300
Pistons-$700
Rods-$600+
Heads-$2200+
Cam-$300+
Pushrods-$120
Rockers-$400+
T-Chain-$160
Oil Pump-$160
Injectors-$300+
Built 4L80E-$3000+?
Differntial-$400+
Machining-$500+
Bolts and Gaskets-$200+

Pretty damn pricey. Good luck with the wife and check book.
