Default Build up on 5.3

Sold the truck. So know I have a 5.3 laying around and I need a project, so I'm going to build the 5.3 up. I need some help with what full forged rotating assembly with low compression and can handle a lot of HP, like (eagle, Lunati) what would hold up. I going to build a single or twin turbo kit and throw some nitrous at it. Could I use 6.0 heads that are worked and I now it lowers the compression on a 5.3 or could i use ls2 heads.

Thanks Guys

That's good and all, but now that you sold the truck, what are you going to put it in once it's done? Your lawnmower? J/K. You should bore it out to 5.7Ls for more power and so you don't have to get custom built forged internals for your 5.3L, you can use the forged set for the 5.7L LS1. Don't know if you what to do this, but it's what I would do.

I agree with 2000. Bore, stroke, and boost. The #317 6.0L heads will drop the CR quite a bit or you can order your pistons dished.

I'm going to put it in a reg cab or a ex-cab, 2wd and make it a baja truck.
