You could do a take off GM blower for half of the Maggie kit which would be what is coming on that crate... that's another option if you wanted a 1900. I am sure if you phone GM dealers you can get better pricing than that stuff on Summit. Hell there is a dealer in Quebec that prices there stuff around the same realm as what I pay in Alberta..... be worth your while with the way exchange is if there is no give on the crate engine pricing in the US. I am sure there is though..... but it requires picking up the phone lol.
