I can get about 20% off the 8k motor, that would put it at 6,400. Swap would be easy, so labor maybe 750. Sell the 5.3 for 2,700, that would put me at about 4,300 out the door. Add the TVS kit at 6,500 and I'm right under 12k all in with a new crate 6.2 with a TVS. At least that's my line of thought...

I know a few guys who own dealerships, they usually give me 20% off across the board so I think I'll go that route. Thank you for the input sir. I agree, I'm going to buy a crate motor unless I can figure out another route to SC a 5.3 that can make 600 rwhp for less than 9k...

Yeah just get the 6.2 haha. I am in process of putting all mine together and if it's not 600 whp it's a fail. It's a forged 370 I built with a custom isky cam, a set of older but still decent cnc ported Edelbrock heads I had and the TVS 2300. Should be good to pull trailer in my 3/4 ton lol.
