Default The build is on!

Felt like christmas just yesterday as i was picking up my 6.0 I got it for $1500 at around 45,000 miles! Seemed like a good deal for me. I have a lot of plans for this engine, but plan to keep it n/a as of now. Maybe spray a little bit of nitrous here and there but wanna keep this simple. For now i plan on ordering the ls7 lifters along with the ls2 timing chain kit. I am unsure as far as cam, stall, heads, and etc go. I'm a newbie. so help me out if you'd like and let me know yalls opinions or suggestions.

Man you are lucky, or a very good shopper. I've been looking for one for a month now and the best that I can find is 6.0's for $1650.00 with over 100,000 miles on them.

lol yes i was lucky for the price i think. before this engine i kept finding the engines with high miles and guys still wanting at least $2,000 for them! I just ordered my ls2 adjustable timing chain along with the ported ls6 oil pump. I've been doing some searching for a cam and still havent came to anything, but it seems like many people like the 228r tsp cam. I'm one of those impatient persons so hopefully i can find something and make up my mind by friday. i wanna get this build going!

That sucks! I picked up my 6.0 LQ4 for just over $800. It had 110K on it, but that didn't matter to me.

Pat G custom specs cams for each individual person. I would go with him if you are planning on buying a new cam not used. He charges 25 bucks to spec one and if you have him grind it that $25 go towards the actual cam.
