I'm not sure if that's good or bad haha. BTR shipping is fast I'll have the cam tomorrow. I think I'm going to try to install it Friday after work.

I'm currently running the stage two in my 06 crew cab vortec max 4x4 with all the bolt ons to go with it and love it. Just barely can tell it has a cam. Pulls great in my heavy truck up to my 6400 shift point

Have you noticed a slight increase in valve train noise?

Just completed the install, everything went smoothly. It took me the better part of a day to complete it. Ill upload a video to youtube shortly for anyone interested in seeing it. My initial impression of the cam so far is pretty good. It most certainly does not sound stock anymore at idle. The truck fired right up and idled pretty rough for a couple of minutes with a lot of valve train noise. I drove it around the block nice and easy and the valve train noise was not as drastic. I would say it's a couple of hairs louder than the stock valve train. Im going to try and put 50 miles or so on it tonight and change the oil first thing in the morning. I haven't found anything that suggest a cam break in. In the LS1 how to I followed he suggested getting the springs hot and allowing them to complete cool overnight. Ill have a tune in the next couple of weeks and Ill do a follow up report.

Sounds evil😈

I'm sold. Unless Brian Tooley himself tells me otherwis, that's what I'll order when I get home. You will definitely want that tune.

Sounds great. On BTRs website it looks like they have two different packages based on the springs. Which ones did you get and did you reuse the stock pushrods? Any plans for more mods besides the tune?
