Anyone have any ideas on how to get these studs out? 2 are broken off and the other is bent. I tried on a friends truck to drill them out since his did the same thing and we didnt get any where, material is just too hard to drill through with what I have...

Im hesitant to grind them flush since if I do and that doesnt work, im basically stuck with nothing left to work with. Im letting them soak in pb blaster overnight

Your best bet is to heat the manifold around the studs red hot and grab the studs with vice grips. They may come out. If that doesn't work grind them flat like mentioned and drill them. If you can't drill them get a torch and just blow them out. If you are careful, under most circumstances you can blow a steel bolt out of cast iron without getting into the cast iron at all. Its got something to do with the rate of heat transfer or absorption of the cast iron. If all that fails somehow get the old broken stud out and drop a bolt in from the top side. Will be tricky to tighten but better than nothing.

I would bring you a set, next week, but my ex is bringing my boys down here. Other than using a torch, Id say your best bet would be grind them flush, use a center punch and drill them out. A stainless bit may work, but cobalt or titanium would be better.
